TONIGHT KICKS OFF THE CHRISTMAS SEASON — CHRISTMAS AT THE COUNTY!
WAYNE COUNTY SPEEDWAY OPENS ITS FIRST-EVER WALK-THROUGH HOLIDAY LIGHT EXPERIENCE

Orrville, OH — Wayne County Speedway is excited to welcome the community as Christmas at The County officially kicks off tonight! After what felt like a short fall season, the WCS team has been hard at work completing fall facility upgrades and hanging thousands of Christmas lights to bring this winter experience to life.

For the first time in track history, staff and friends of WCS have created a full walk-through Christmas light display on the grounds of the speedway — a project that has required dedication, teamwork, and countless hours from volunteers.

“Several WCS staff members have been giving up their weekends to help make this a successful first year at WCS,” stated Jason Flory, owner/promoter of Wayne County Speedway. “This is definitely a task that one person could not do on their own.”

Christmas at The County begins tonight, December 5, and continues for the next three weekends:
December 5–6, 12–13, and 19–20
Each night runs from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Guests can stroll through the illuminated walk-through display, warm up by the fire, and enjoy Christmas movies playing on the big screen. Kids can visit Santa Claus, take photos, and receive a special gift from Santa himself. Visitors can also enjoy free hot cocoa and make their own s’mores over the fire.

“I just want to thank everyone who came out and spent time helping decorate, those who donated items for the display, and some of our great marketing sponsors who contributed to this event. It takes a team to make this all come together,” Flory added.

There is no admission fee, though donations will be accepted to help grow and improve the event in future years.

What better way to kick off the Christmas season than at The County?
WCS looks forward to celebrating with friends, families, and the entire community.
