Wayne County Speedway Holiday News & Greetings
Orrville, OH --- The management of Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, OH would like to extend their sincerest holiday wishes to the entire dirt racing community as everyone prepares to celebrate the Christmas and New Year holidays. Wayne County Speedway just completed their 41st season in operation.
“On behalf of my entire family, I would like to wish everyone in the dirt racing community the happiest of holidays,” commented Ernie Coffman, owner and promoter of the 3/8 mile dirt oval. “I can’t thank the race fans enough for supporting our race track year in and year out and I tip my hat to all of the race teams who have supported Wayne County Speedway and who have worked hard to entertain our race fans with some of the finest dirt racing in the country.”
“And I have to acknowledge our staff, they are hard-working, loyal and dedicated to not only Wayne County Speedway but dirt racing as a whole. We have the best fans, teams, staff and sponsors and we wish all of them a Merry Christmas.”
The Wayne County Speedway management team consists of the Coffman family, Ernie & Pam, Clint & Rhonda and Renee as well as General Manager Tina Heil.
“I have to echo Ernie’s sentiments and thank our loyal fans, teams, staff and sponsors,” added Heil. “I would also like to extend a special thanks to our many sponsors who helped support the track and teams this season. We appreciate the fact they believe in Wayne County Speedway and help make it a success. And I cannot thank the local as well as racing media for all of the terrific coverage we received this past season. I think it was unprecedented!”
“We hope everyone takes the time to enjoy their families and then get ready for 2007,” interjected Coffman. “We have Federated Auto Parts on board for 2007 in a big, big way and we’re looking forward to making some special announcements over the next couple months. Once we get through the awards banquet it will be full steam ahead.”
Management of WCS also reminds teams, fans and sponsors that the annual WCS Awards Banquet that will honor the top ten drivers in points for each division in addition to recognizing the rookies of the year, staff and sponsors will be held on Saturday January 13, 2007 at the Ashland University Convocation Center in Ashland, OH located at 401 College Avenue.
Reservations are now being accepted by Wayne County Speedway and admission will be $25.00 per person with a deadline for ordering tickets January 1, 2007. Send all orders to: Wayne County Speedway, 490 Dewey Avenue, Mansfield, OH 44902. Doors will open at 6:00 PM with dinner at 7:00 PM and the awards ceremony to immediately follow.
