WCS Announces Time Changes For Driver/Team/Staff Meetings
Orrville, OH --- Wayne County Speedway management has announced a scheduling change for their annual Drivers’ Meetings to discuss the 2007 racing season. With the announcement earlier this week that the 3/8 mile banked dirt oval has added Sprint Cars to the weekly 2007 schedule a time change was necessitated. The meetings for each of the five divisions and the WCS staff will be held on Sunday November 12 at the Meeting Room at Maibach Ford, Inc., 1780 North Main Street in Orrville, OH. Topics to be discussed will be rules, regulations, race formats and other important topics.
The annual drivers/team owners & staff meetings will all meet that day and the new time schedule is: Mini Stock drivers will meet from 11:00 – 12:00 PM; Pure Stock drivers will meet from 12:05 – 1:05 PM; Modified drivers will meet from 1:15 – 2:15 PM; Super Late Model drivers will meet from 2:30 – 3:30 PM and Super Sprint Car drivers will meet from 3:45 – 4:45. The WCS staff meeting will take place at 5:00 PM EST.
“It’s important for our race teams and for the Wayne County Speedway management and staff to hold these meetings to make sure everyone is on the same page for the 2007 racing season,” commented Tina Heil, General Manager of Wayne County Speedway in Orrville, OH. “The feedback we get from the race teams is vital to us. It helps us formulate our plans for the 2007 season and it’s a good time to discuss issues and any ideas the drivers may have.”
