2007 Mini Stocks Rules
All racecars are subject to be inspected by the Wayne County Speedway Technical Inspector at any time during the racing events. Minimum age requirement 15 Years of age. It is the responsibility of all drivers and owners to know the rules. Engine and driveline must remain stock for vehicle!
CAR - Any American or foreign made passenger car (no trucks). Car must be any two or four door and completely stock. No all-wheel drive vehicles. ** NO LOCKING OF DIFFERENTIALS BY ANY MEANS (including WELDING).
ENGINE - 4-cylinder ONLY. No rotary engines. No turbochargers or superchargers. Computers on fuel injected cars MUST be stock. No aftermarket or replacement performance "chips" allowed. No engine modifications, to include shaving of the head. Engine should remain "a stock engine". All cars are subject to inspection at any time if deemed necessary by an official.
Flywheels - No aluminum flywheels, flex plates. Must be stock.
Springs - Stock springs for make and model of car in stock location. "No spacers or lowering devices allowed." No tie downs. No broken or heated springs allowed.
FUEL - Pump gasoline only. No fuel additives.
EXTERIOR - All glass must be removed excluding the windshield. All exterior trim and molding must be removed.
WINDOWS - The car must have a minimum of 3 bars in the front in front of the drivers compartment if glass is removed, forward of driver's head. A screen for these bars is optional. A driver's side window net is mandatory. Glass windshield is permitted.
INTERIOR - All flammable material must be removed except the front seat and the dash. A fuel cell is highly recommended. An aluminum-racing seat is recommended. Bucket seat is permitted.
DOORS - Doors must be welded shut. There must be at least 2 bars in the driver and passenger doors.
BELTS - 5-point racing seat belts are minimum requirement.
TIRES AND WHEELS - Must run stock D. O. T. tires (no snow tires), 7" wide maximum. For safety we encourage steel wheels but allow aluminum wheels. No racing wheels. Must be stock offset and size for make and model.
BRAKES - Four wheel operating brakes are mandatory.
ROLL BARS - 4 point roll bars using minimum of 1.5" by .095" wall minimum tubing, are mandatory for all races in all divisions. Roll cage cannot extend past drivers compartment. Rear bars from top of roll cage to rear shock tower are permitted as long as they do NOT run past rear struts. NOTE: Any car, which is determined to be unsafe, for any reason, by Track Officials, will not be allowed to participate in any event at any event at Wayne County Speedway until modifications are made.
CAR CLAIM - There will be one claim per event and only competitors from that division may claim. Cars may be claimed for $1,000.00. First claim refusal $150.00 fine paid to Wayne County Speedway cash before racing next program. Second refusal $300.00 fine paid to Wayne County Speedway before racing next program, third refusal car barred for one year and out of class indefinitely. First and second refusal will result in a loss of points and prize money for that night. Third refusal loss of all points for season, no exception! Safety equipment is not included in car claim.
COMPUTER CLAIM – You may claim a competitor’s computer for $100. Competitors wishing to claim must notify the tech inspector within 5 minutes of the feature. You must have made the “A” main to be eligible to claim a competitor’s computer. Refusal to accept the claim from a competitor will result in driver/car owner losing all points accumulated.
MUFFLERS - Mufflers are required on all cars - 100 decibels maximum.
ELECTRONICS - No radios or other communication devices are permitted. No "in-cockpit driver controlled" electronic devices of any kind permitted. No computer controlled devices of any kind permitted. PASSENGERS No one shall be allowed to ride on or in the car as a passenger on the track at any time. SAFETY All drivers must wear an approved fire suit that is in good condition, an approved full-face helmet, and racing approved fire gloves. A fully charged and easily accessible fire extinguisher is required.
CONDITION AND APPEARANCE - All cars must be in good operational condition, presentable in appearance and in general safe condition. All racecars are subject to judgment of the inspection officials. No wings or tunnels of any type permitted under the car.
NUMBER APPEARANCE - Car numbers must be a minimum of 18" high on the car doors and roof. Do not use reflective colors. Do not spray paint numbers on. Duplicate numbers are not permitted. Drivers are responsible for making sure that the numbers are legible for scorekeeping.

The rules and/or regulations set forth herein do not express or imply warranty of safety, from publication of, or, compliance with these rules and/or regulations. They are intended as a guide for the conduct of the Wayne County Speedway events and are in no way a guarantee against injury to participants. These rules and/or regulations will apply to all Wayne County Speedway racing events. Designated officials of Wayne County Speedway have full authority over racing events. In the event of any on track dispute the Head Flagman's decision will be final.
